Elephant Ear bulbs are among the most eye catching of the bulbs available for purchase. Not only are they one of the largest flowering bulbs but they are also very versatile and can grow with little sunlight to full shade. Beautiful on their own or planted as a backdrop for your favorite blooms, they provide a bold tropical effect in nearly any garden. Grown for only their foliage which are reminiscent of an elephant's ears. Once established they require little to no attention. This bulb is just grown for its leaves, for which it won an award, as the foliage is of much interest. A real bold and impressive Elephant Ear classic. It is heat tolerant, fast grower, adaptable as a houseplant and can be used as a water plant as it loves the edges of ponds. The foliage is green with purple black, making for a real thriller in a tropical container combination planter. Stunning planted with Canna bulbs. Plant this pernnial in a location with partial sun.
