What is Eyelet Fabric? Eyelet is a decorative fabric characterized by small, patterned holes (or eyes) that are cut into material and finished with embroidery around the edges. The embroidery prevents the holes from fraying and creates a beautiful, lace-like texture.

Is Eyelet Fabric see-through? This seems to be a common concern of women shopping for Eyelet Fabric. The level of show-through depends on the pattern density; are the holes small and scattered or large and intricate? Eyelet garments may be lined for coverage, but if not, the best approach is to wear skin-toned seamless undergarments.

How to wear Eyelet? The key to keeping Eyelet grown-up is all about contrast. Walmart recommends balancing the sweetness of the fabric with more structured elements. Mix your textures and break up the lace look by adding contrasting fabric like denim or faux leather.
