Armando Sciascia - Violin Reactions Soundtrack - Vinyl (Remaster) (Limited Edition)

Limited 200gm deluxe vinyl LP with exclusive scholarly liner notes by Alvin Lucia and rarely seen photos and ephemera. First ever commercial release for this ultra-rare 1974 Library/Production Music LP. Full dynamic range 2015 remaster direct from the first generation analog master tapes. Armando Sciascia - by day, notable composer for Italian erotic and exotic cinema - by night, experimentalist and nocturnal avant-gardener. Lovingly crafted in his hand-built Vedette studio, Sciascia's quot;lust for experimental researchquot; has never been more evident than on these precious, never before commercially released 1974 Library recordings. Violin Reactions is a violently unique work, studiously constructed out of multi-tracked strings, ominous VCS3 drones and the drum breaks of Tullio de Piscopo. Part futurist broadcast, part Middle-Eastern short-wave transmission, anchored by de Piscopo's breakbeats and callisthenic percussion - strangely melodic and at times hauntingly otherworldly.
