Wild Boar Outlaw Series Converters are engineered and precision assembled by hand in the USA to to 1,000+ hp and are made for NOS and Transbrake applications.<br><br>The toughest ACC Performance Torque Converter built, they come with a custom anti-ballooning plate designed to hold back any potential ballooning of the converter. These special designed plates keep the extra weight off of the rotating mass.<br><br>ACC Performance uses larger Torrington bearings where needed. Torrington bearings handle more power than smaller needle type bearings others use. Needle bearings are not encased, which makes them susceptible to picking up trash in transmission fluid, in turn leading to heat build up and failure.<br><br>ACC Performance also welds-up and four corner tack-welds turbine and impeller fins to maintain the highest strength. This will stop fin degradation or deformity. They also have custom engineered turbine hubs to maintain the highest quality, strength, and durability. Some of the competitors use a chromemoly steel turbine hub that does not weld very well. If improperly welded, it can cause converter failure and or damage to your transmission.<br><br>Stators are built with high flow vents and channels for greater cooling in order to handle the much greater power and heat ranges.<br><br>Rather than using a dual bolt pattern to fit multiple applications, ACC Performance converters are engineered with a single bolt pattern for less rotating mass. This makes them surprisingly light, keeping the weight of the converter off of the rotating mass of the motor. That allows your engine to rev-up through the RPM range quicker, helping put more power to the ground.;
